Thursday night brought with it 12 games and we couldn’t be happier for the game to be back on our TV sets. With the return of football, you have to take the good with the bad. The good: football is back. The bad: football is back.Let us explain. Our favorite teams are back on the field, which is great. But there have also been some pretty terrible mental errors displayed in the games tonight. One such mental error was an interception thrown by Purdue quarterback Elijah Sindelar. While the throw was bad, it gave us one of our favorite moments of the night. The surrender cobra.FIRST SURRENDER COBRA OF THE SEASON THANK YOU PURDUE pic.twitter.com/qqWGsZYFEk— Yahoo Sports College Football (@YahooSportsCFB) August 31, 2018It’s the first surrender cobra of the season, and the game isn’t even over yet. Sindelar threw his third interception of the first half, and Northwestern took advantage. The Wildcats currently own a 31-17 lead at the half thanks to a solid defensive effort.
