Auburn completes 2016 non-conference schedule

first_imgAUBURN — The Tigers have their 2016 non-conference schedule set.Auburn will host Louisiana-Monroe on Oct. 1 and Alabama A&M on Nov. 19, according to a source. The Tigers previously scheduled home games with Clemson (Sept. 3) and Arkansas State (Sept. 10) in 2016.The 2016 non-conference slate has three games in common with that of the 2012 season, which saw Auburn play Clemson in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff in Atlanta and host both ULM and Alabama A&M.Auburn is 9-0 all-time against ULM, last beating the Warhawks 31-28 in overtime in 2012, and 1-0 all-time against Alabama A&M, with a 51-7 win also coming in 2012.Auburn hosts Arkansas, LSU, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt and travels to Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi State and Ole Miss in 2016, with dates to be announced.Auburn’s 2017 non-conference schedule features a Sept. 9 game at Clemson and Nov. 18 game against Mercer, which was announced Thursday.The complete 2015 schedule was released earlier this fall.last_img
